The three companies are Spatial, HAAS Alert and Cargo, not Detroit local companies, but have worked and studied in Detroit through the Technology Star program for the past three months. Each company continued to operate the company while receiving $120,000 in funds and expert guidance.
Based in Cincinnati, Spatial provides a layer of embedded “social intelligence layer†for GPS maps that identifies areas suitable for specific activities, such as dining and nightlife.
