Lake Zurich has been added to the site

Lake Zurich has recently joined MABAS Division 4, marking a new addition to the region's fire departments. The department operates from four stations, with one located in Deer Park and another in North Barrington. Their firefighting fleet is entirely composed of Pierce apparatus, featuring four Saber pumper engines, a Dash tower ladder, and a squad unit built on an IHC 4400 chassis. For emergency medical services, they use a mix of Road Rescue and Medtec Type I ambulances, all mounted on IHC chassis. The four pumper engines are nearly identical, though they were manufactured between 1997 and 2002. Most of them carry 1,000 gallons of water and have foam tanks, while the downtown engine only carries 750 gallons. This slight variation highlights the age and evolution of their equipment over time. With a strong focus on both fire suppression and emergency medical response, Lake Zurich continues to serve its community with reliable and well-equipped resources.
