Hony specialize in providing precision-ground balls in a variety of colors sizes, types, and materials. Our primary material offers are plastic, thermoplastic, rubber, ceramic, metal, fluorocarbon, and laminate (phenolic). We carry size ranges starting at microns and ranging up to 6″.
HONY Plastic balls are often used extensively in pharmaceutical, food and chemical production. Plastic Balls have low friction and require virtually no lubrication. They are much lighter than metal balls and are resistant to corrosion and abrasion. Many plastics are also resistant to high temperatures up to 600° F.
1. Different properties: Polypropylene (PP) extruded sheet is a plastic sheet made of PP resin added with various functional additives through extrusion, calendering, cooling, cutting and other processes. POM polyoxymethylene is a linear polymer with no side chain, high density and high crystallinity.
Hony plastic specialized industries face many unique, harsh environments and need equipment to withstand a variety of exposures to ensure accurate operations and readings. Hony Plastic Ball is proud to offer a series of high-temperature plastic balls & spheres designed specifically for your taxing environment.
Each of our six high-performance materials boasts a set of unique characteristics and application potential. Operational temperature ranges from cryogenic levels to more than 550oF, with excursions up to 900oF.

Infrared Heating and the Role of the Quartz Element
Infratech heaters are designed with sustainability in mind, using recycled materials and producing no harmful emissions or odors. These heaters rely on infrared or radiant heat technology, making them ideal for warming spaces like patios, garages, or any area where traditional heating methods may not be effective.
At the heart of every Infratech heater is the **quartz element**, which emits a safe and clean form of light energy. This energy is absorbed by people and objects rather than heating the air directly. As a result, Infratech heaters provide even, consistent warmth that stays put—even in breezy conditions. Unlike short-wave halogen heaters that emit harsh, bright light, Infratech’s medium-wave quartz elements offer a soft, barely visible glow that blends seamlessly into your environment.
Comfort Meets Aesthetics
When it comes to creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, Infratech quartz elements are the top choice. Their medium-wave heat is gentle and comfortable, perfect for gatherings or outdoor events. Competing products often use short-wave halogen elements, which produce intense heat and glaring light—disturbing both comfort and ambiance. With Infratech, you get efficient heating without compromising on style.
How Long Do Infratech Quartz Elements Last?
Infratech quartz elements are built to last, with a rated lifespan of 5,000 hours of continuous use. Depending on how often you use your heater, this could translate to several years of reliable performance. Always refer to the W-Series manual for installation and maintenance instructions, and remember to disconnect power before replacing an element.
Does It Affect Your Ambiance?
If you're looking to maintain a cozy and elegant setting, Infratech's quartz elements are the perfect solution. They emit a subtle, warm glow that enhances the space without being intrusive. Other heaters with short-wave halogen elements can create a harsh, uninviting atmosphere. Infratech ensures you enjoy the benefits of radiant heat without sacrificing comfort or style.
2. Different characteristics: POM plastics are slightly less stable to acid and alkali; while polyoxymethylene copolymers have lower density, crystallinity, melting point and strength, but good thermal stability. PP is a semi-crystalline material that is harder and has a higher melting point than PE.
3. Different properties: the strength of PP increases with the increase of ethylene content. The Vicat softening temperature of PP is 150°C. The main reinforcing material of POM plastic is glass fiber, glass ball or carbon fiber, etc., and glass fiber is the most commonly used. After reinforcement, the mechanical properties can be increased by 2 to 3 times, and the heat distortion temperature can be increased by more than 50 °C.
