Lake Zurich has been added to the site

Lake Zurich has recently joined MABAS Division 4, expanding the region's emergency response network. The department operates from four stations, with one located in Deer Park and another in North Barrington. Their fire suppression fleet is entirely composed of Pierce apparatus, featuring four Saber engines, a Dash tower ladder, and a squad unit built on an IHC 4400 chassis. For ambulance services, they use a mix of Road Rescue and Medtec Type I units, all mounted on IHC chassis. The four engines are nearly identical in design, though they were manufactured between 1997 and 2002. Most of them carry 1,000 gallons of water along with foam tanks, except for the downtown engine, which has a smaller 750-gallon tank. This setup ensures flexibility and efficiency across different call types. Here’s a look at some of their equipment. The IHC Pierce squad is a key part of their fleet, ready for rapid response. The Road Rescue ambulance shows their commitment to high-quality patient care. And Fire Station 4, located at 21970 Field Parkway in Deer Park, is a two-bay facility that mirrors the design of their other outlying stations. These photos give a glimpse into the daily operations of the Lake Zurich Fire Department.
