New waveguide direct-reading attenuator released for instrumentation

China's Pasternack Corporation, a leading supplier of RF, microwave and millimeter wave products, has introduced a new waveguide direct-reading attenuator product line for instrumentation, test benches, and efficient RF/microwave transmission. , satellite communications, military communications, radar and telecommunications applications.

The above-mentioned direct-reading attenuators have waveguide standard sizes of WR-42 to WR-10, and the operating frequency spans seven bands in the range of 18 GHz to 110 GHz. Other features include: +/- 2% typical attenuation accuracy; easy-to-read dials; military-standard UG flanges; products in different frequency ranges have a 0 dB to 50 dB minimum attenuation range and 0.5 dB to 1 dB insertion loss.

These direct-reading waveguide attenuators can be used in many fields including aerospace, defense, industry, telecommunications, instrumentation, and medical, and made of high-quality materials to ensure consistent performance.

“Sometimes, people need some easy-to-use precision variable attenuators. Pasternack's variable attenuators provide excellent accuracy, and its attenuation is as simple as turning the knob to the target indicated by the dial. No need to create a look-up table like other variable attenuators. This series of direct-reading attenuators is an excellent complement to our waveguide product line, explains Mr. Mark Blackwood, product manager of Passive Products at Passernack.

About Pasternack Corporation US Pasternack Corporation is a global leader in RF products, founded in 1972. As an ISO9001:2008 certified manufacturer and supplier, Pasternack provides the industry with the widest selection of active and passive RF, microwave and millimeter wave products.

Exhaust system

An exhaust system is usually piping used to guide reaction exhaust gases away from a controlled combustion inside an engine. The Whole Exhaust System conveys burnt gases from the engine and includes one or more exhaust pipes. Depending on the overall system design, the exhaust gas may flow through one or more of:

·         Exhaust head and exhaust manifold

·         turbo to increase engine power.

·         A three way Catalytic Converter to reduce air pollution.

·         muffler / silencer  to reduce noise.

·         A exhaust tip to look better
