M&E at AU: Studios empowered to create more content, faster in the cloud

In today’s fast-paced entertainment and gaming landscape, studios and developers are under constant pressure to deliver high-quality content quickly. The demand for more stories, games, and experiences has never been higher, yet teams are often smaller and budgets tighter. In the streaming era, audiences are just a click away from switching platforms, making it essential for creators to stay ahead of the curve. To succeed in this ever-evolving environment, innovation must go hand-in-hand with efficiency. Cloud-based solutions are becoming the backbone of modern production, enabling seamless collaboration, faster workflows, and greater flexibility. At Autodesk, we’re committed to equipping our customers with the tools they need to push creative boundaries and streamline their processes. At Autodesk University 2022, we’re excited to share how we’re helping the media and entertainment industry embrace the cloud, making collaboration more open, connected, and accessible than ever before. **Unifying the Production Pipeline in the Cloud** The complexity of modern film, TV, and game production is staggering—hundreds of people across multiple locations, thousands of assets, and millions of versions of each shot. Managing all of this requires a unified approach. That’s where Autodesk Flow comes in. Designed specifically for the media and entertainment industry, Autodesk Flow brings together people, data, and workflows across the entire production pipeline, creating a centralized system for asset management and project continuity. By eliminating silos and streamlining data flow, Autodesk Flow helps teams work more efficiently and avoid costly errors. One of the most exciting applications of this technology is Moxion, a cloud-based platform that allows for real-time digital dailies. From capturing raw footage on set to reviewing it instantly anywhere, Moxion transforms how teams collaborate and make decisions. Take Amazon Studios, for example. As part of its “6th Generation Studio” initiative, the company is moving more of its production and post-production workflows to the cloud. By integrating ShotGrid and Moxion, Amazon Studios ensures that on-set data flows directly into post-production, enabling faster decision-making and smoother workflows. Eric Iverson, Director of Product Strategy at Amazon Studios, shared, “These tools are transforming how we manage complex projects and bring compelling stories to life. In today’s fast-moving environment, staying agile is key.” **Driving the Industry Forward with Open Standards** Collaboration thrives when data flows freely. That’s why Autodesk, along with other industry leaders, is investing heavily in open standards. These standards enable interoperability, reduce friction, and empower teams to work more efficiently across different platforms. We’re proud to be open-sourcing technologies like RV, which allows VFX and animation artists to review high-resolution images and sequences in real time. Alongside partners like Sony and DNEG, we’re supporting the Open Review Initiative—a new project within the Academy Software Foundation aimed at creating a unified, open-source toolset for playback, review, and approval. Additionally, we’re advancing key open standards such as MaterialX, Open Color IO, gITF, and Open Timeline IO. These efforts are helping the industry shift from closed, fragmented systems to open, collaborative environments that support innovation at scale. **Bringing the Power of Maya to More Artists, Everywhere** Maya has long been the gold standard for 3D animation and visual effects. Now, we’re making it more accessible than ever. With Maya Creative, an affordable version of Maya designed for independent artists and small studios, creators can now access powerful tools through a flexible, pay-as-you-go model. This approach allows smaller teams to scale up quickly without the burden of long-term licensing. Whether you're a freelancer, a small studio, or a large production house, Maya Creative gives you the power to bring your vision to life without breaking the bank. From a young dragon created by artist Gabriel Richaud to complex character animations, Maya continues to inspire and empower artists around the world. As the media and entertainment industry evolves, so do the tools that drive it. At Autodesk University 2022, we’re excited to showcase how we’re helping shape the future of content creation—making it more efficient, inclusive, and innovative for everyone.

Cabin

The structure of the cab mainly includes: the hollow shell of the cab, doors, windows, interior and exterior trim parts, workbenches and body accessories, seats, and ventilation, heating, air conditioning, air conditioning devices, etc. In trucks and special vehicles, it also includes boxes and other equipment.

The cabin shell is the installation foundation of all cab components, usually refers to the rigid space structure composed of the main load-bearing components such as longitudinal beams, beams and pillars and the sheet parts connected with them. Most passenger car cabs have obvious skeletons, while car bodies and truck cabs do not have obvious skeletons. The cab shell usually also includes sound insulation, heat insulation, vibration prevention, anti-corrosion, sealing and other materials and coatings laid on it.
