According to reports, the newly built fishery ship was designed by the China Shipbuilding Corporation's 708th Research Institute and Wuchang Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. The whole ship is a steel structure with double-deck continuous deck, Changchun Building and Fangyu design. It has a helicopter landing platform and a hangar, and is equipped with a full-swing electric propulsion system. The total length of the ship is about 110 meters, the width is 15 meters, the depth is 7.5 meters (upper deck), and the designed displacement is about 3,450 tons. The new vessel is expected to start construction in June 2013 and ship to the shipowner in June 2014.
According to the contract signed by the two parties, in this cooperation, the 7.1 power system integration unit will provide the shipowner with a complete power station system, propulsion system and full ship automation system, and ABB will equip the ship with a complete electric propulsion system.
