China Civil Aviation into the air network era

Industry sources pointed out that the successful maiden flight of CA1405 on the 15th ended the history of China’s domestic aviation flight without a network. China’s civil aviation industry has since entered the era of aerial networks. The new system provides on-board wireless network services. Passengers can use their own portable computers and tablet computers to access the on-board wireless network. Air China’s on-board wireless LAN can provide passengers with new air network services. In addition to the rich entertainment content such as movies, music, and blue sky books, it can also provide travel, shopping, hotels, car rentals and other types of business travel products for aircraft cabins. The travelers inside created a true social networking platform.

At present, there is no plan to charge passengers for wireless LANs on flights. For flight safety, it is still necessary to turn off the mobile phone during the flight. It is reported that Air China will further implement ground-air communications through the network. By then, passengers can access the Internet through the Internet and freely interact with the ground. In addition, Air China will gradually promote the on-board wireless LAN in the fleet. The A321, another airliner currently being modified by Air China, will soon be put into trial operation on the Beijing-Shanghai route.
