In addition, the early-warning index for the equipment manufacturing industry in the fourth quarter of 2010 was 113.3 points, an increase of 3.3 points from the previous quarter, indicating that the equipment manufacturing industry continues to operate in the “green light area” upper position. The warning index of China's home appliance industry was 103.3 points, down 6.7 points from the previous quarter. It is still in the "green light" range.

The index report shows that in the fourth quarter of 2010, the equipment manufacturing industry achieved a rapid increase in profitability on the basis of stable production and sales growth. The ex-factory price of products rose moderately, the export situation continued to improve, and business confidence continued to increase. At the same time, the report believes that the improvement of the industry's fourth-quarter economic climate index has clearly benefited from the stimulation of macroeconomic policies. Therefore, it is recommended that relevant parties work hard to ensure the layout of the industry and avoid problems such as redundant construction among regions and waste of resources.
