The national key new product plan is divided into two types: strategic innovation products and key new products. Strategic innovation products are “a major technological breakthrough in the country’s strategic emerging industries, a strategic value in the development of the national economy, a significant role in safeguarding and improving people’s livelihood, and a significant impact in industry progress and local development. A major innovative product with independent intellectual property rights and strong market competitive advantages."
