Coal Gas Natural Gas Project Peaking Phase I Annual Production of 600,000 Tons of Methanol Engineering Feasibility Review Meeting Held in Beijing

Recently, another downstream product project of Datang International Keshikeng Coal Gas Natural Gas Co., Ltd., a project for the first phase of coal-to-gas natural gas project peak-shaping, was completed in Beijing. This was followed by the approval of the 100,000-ton/year phenolic resin project of Chifeng Guoneng Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. in February. The preliminary work of another downstream product project of the Kexiketengqi Coal Chemical Cycle Economy Park in Inner Mongolia was launched.

It is understood that with the strong support of the local government, the Keqi Coal Chemical Cycle Economy Park has developed rapidly. At present, there are many projects in the park, of which the first phase of the Datang International coal-based natural gas project will be put into production in June this year. The 450,000 tonne/year coal tar hydrogenation project of National Energy plans to complete all civil works by the end of this year. The 10,000-ton/year crude phenol refining project is also scheduled to be commissioned before the end of the year.
