With the recent introduction of five new 65-series horizontal machining centers ordered by out-of-province customers, these advanced machines have now been successfully installed on the users' production lines. This marks a significant milestone in the development of large and precision horizontal machining centers at Kunming Machine Tool Plant. Through a modular design approach, the product structure and performance have been greatly enhanced. The project achieved an important breakthrough in ensuring stable and reliable accuracy, while significantly reducing the assembly cycle. These new series of machines are expected to become a key driver of economic growth for Kunming.
To reposition Kunming's large-scale precision horizontal machining centers in the market, the factory embraced cutting-edge technologies from both domestic and international sources. A dedicated team was assembled, and with great effort, they overcame numerous challenges to set a new record in the assembly process. The precision of these machines now meets the international ISO 10971 standards, and the assembly cycle has been reduced to as little as 35 days.
